lol fun! I've got a few wsg based builds @lld and im making a more. I always wanted to make a geddon bear at 30 with fireclaws but the pelt ive never seen spawn to make it.

Only thing i'd do different is blood craft mirror boots eventually. imo 10 str bugged frw isn't worth life/rep/res/res/fhr w/e u can spawn on them. especially with 9x gcs 10x scs lol

I feel like building for survival of any kind is somewhat hopeless. I guess you could go a max resist build at the least, since you could potentially use 3/5 scs, rare boots, 25% ravenlore and charms. The amount of raw HP with just 1 point werebear/oak isn't too shabby even with 0 life from charms. But with 0% dr and < 5% block, I'm just used to dying any time someone actually connects with me twice in a row. I'm just not sure how much good resists would do. Against fireball sorcs it might hedge against the number of hits it takes which is nice since they're sporadic in hitting, but against dedicated FoH or blizzard you can't stack anyway so its useless. Not getting whittled down by a hammerdin using 1 point foh or a low investment mage would be handy though, because like trangs fastnec, this build walks all over paladins other than FoH. Not sure there's any point against sins considering how easy they have it if they play defensive and whirlwind will easily kill if it passes through anyway, javazons same deal you'll die if they hit you whether you're -30% or 75+40% resists.
another option for boots is shadow dancers, there you trade 10% frw for 30% fhr, but that also seems redundant if you're wsging 100% of the time.

I mean I guess there's an argument for being able to tank a hit or two from elemental attacks and not dying to thunderstorm or aura pulses too easily, but the charms might be too expensive for my taste at least. Even my budget level 89 druid without cta or anni and with no +life gear at all manages 2700 hp, and that means I could actually survive a handful of errant trap shots or a few fireballs if I maxed my resists.
also keep in mind, you can get 40% single resist on magic boots, so rare or crafted boots only offer up 2 more resists for the frw tradeoff. Then again 40/40 boots would be insanely rare.

also I really need to get someone ingame for video capture, or i'll wind up paying some hobo or rent boy on trading forums

i'd take 40-40's (or preferably 3 pairs of them) over shadows and likely even crafted bloods. but i'd take 30 frw crafted bloods over 40 plains. 10 str bugged frw is nice, but imo not worth dual res. 10 str bugged frw and res stack is nicer than 2 res stacks tho i agree.

we have it easy at LLD with nats boots

a lot of duels in I'm thinking that lightning is the one resistance that actually matters for chip damage since holy shock, thunder storm and foh are all impossible to avoid, nova is somewhat relevant, and errant shots from traps or lightning furies matter even if they won't normally hit you at all. I'm not sure how much it would matter against FB, not when you have a good chance to just outplay them and make it a fair fight as they stay at range. And that says to me that if you could get them, amber boots of acceleration and amber small charms might make more sense than general resists. For cold theres no way you beat blizz,

if you went all-in on the scs and boots, you could hit 234% total lightning resist. For an inventory with 10x amber scs that isn't much, it won't survive dedicated gris FoHers, but it will hedge against the other undodgeable skills or chip fohs.
course that does leave open the option of slapping on a 4x ptopaz monarch in such duels

I should also point out that this is best candidate for bone midget build
You can still use geddon and oak in delirium form and wsg around or use harmonies for decent speed. Although with such a glass build, it struggles to activate delirium without dying by getting hit by enemies, so you'd need to use fire patches (blood raven crypts for example)

Okay the video quality and trial overlay leaves some to be desired, but this should show what is seen on player vs enemies: The usual WSG stutter-walking and teleporting, with further distances using more %FRW from harmony of course.
Looking very closely frame by frame its apparent that the armageddon rocks are falling at the same locations, so they lead the bear a bit, its not visually clear enough to be a give-away since the rocks are delayed and have no way to z-scaling, so dodging armageddon is always rather tricky even if you can actually see what's going on, you can't tell where the rocks are going to collide even once you see them. But the WSG is as expected.

so I have to wonder build-wise whether there's any real point to having str glitched desync FRW when you're WSGing 100% of the time anyway, given the stutterstep is going to reduce your visual movement by such a huge amount anyway. str glitched boots or enigma or anything, on any such build, does it really matter if you're slamming W as fast as you can?

Oh also one more thing I noticed buildwise, if making this you should use all level-facets, no death facets. Whenever a death facet triggers a skill with a delay, it does the same 'disable all your skills for 11 frames' that makes phoenix a bad shield on attackers. So when you unshift from wereform at 1 HP, if you don't have death facets you can re-shift immediately, but if you do have death facets there's an 11 frame delay. That applies to blizzard and meteor, but not poison nova and chain lightning. Since meteor is garbage and will never do anything relevant unlike poison nova, build only with level facets if you can. Its not a deal-breaker, but it would be a significant difference in survivability since wereform OHKO protection is basically your only defense.
also if you really wanted to, subbing one fire facet for a poison facet isn't unthinkable. Against the average 75% PR (stacked at least 5% deep, lets assume) and -100% PLR char, even just a plain death facet is 162 HP over 4 seconds, and against builds that neglect their PR and have ~0% resist after the -5% thats 646 HP. There's a fair amount of times I find myself unshifting in normal duels as a BvC passes through me or a single stray fireball connects or whatnot. But I don't know how relevant the poison damage can be if I'm going to kill them in one hit with armageddon or tickle them with poison, since if they die in 1 hit it only matters if the poison hits them enough times to drop them to 1 hp, which is... unlikely.
