More %mf never hurts for getting unique items.

One more question, is the below MF guide still relevant?

Does the linear movement of magical item drops hinder my chances of getting uniques/sets if i have more magic find?

Chance to find magical items does not depend lineary on % mf.
The graph you started with doesn't show what you may think it shows.

It only shows the graphs of functions :
x -> x
x -> 600 * x / ( 600 + x )
x -> 500 * x / ( 500 + x )
x -> 250 * x / ( 250 + x )

There's no linear chances for magical items.
There's no worry with having a huge amount of % mf when looking for unique items.
It only hurts when looking for set items, as far as you're concerned. And only in the sense that a potential set item would - unfortunately - turn to be a unique item instead.

And yes, % mf has no effect on rune drops.
