There are no souls in the Chaos Sanctuary and that setup underperforms



You don't need FCR, use dual Hoto on switch and just press weapon switch, it doesn't slow you down at all

and yes LoH will have a huge impact, it adds 2 x more than your mastery or it's like hiring an extra 1.5 Might mercs, also keep in mind you don't get any enhanced damage from your combat skill, it simply converts, so LoH will factor before conversion, so with ~430 Grief PB damage it's like adding an extra 1.5k physical damage before critical/deadly strike.

The 2 builds you have provided are only build for HOWLING and popping seals to kill that Boss from those seals... then just dealing with Diablo.

You could create a game where you, and two of your mates have the teleport berserk barb build and pick 1 seal each in a full game, all 3 of you can teleport
as fast as a sorc to the seals, but, kill the bosses faster... then all 3 barbs deal the equivalent dmg or higher than a Hammerdin.

A Berserk barb skill set is exactly the same, the only changes are the items, a Grief with added damage and Pheonix shield can yield HIGHER dmg than a 2 handed weapon
PER SECOND... but, I want to leave this to all the number crunchers that posted in this thread.

Now, let's test and try and see My main problem sadly is the merc. Although she has +86 life from tiara (+my BO), TOO-huge res (more than 65@ overstacked, she has maxed resists at hell before equipping CoH) and 8dr from Ber - she dies. When I try to kill one of the 3 monsters, the stands there and dies sometimes. I hope these are mostly my mistakes, but well..
Any suggestions about gear / merc? Any ideas to try out?

grief + arreat + wt means 0%cb 20%ds, it's pretty bad. use guillaumes at least.
you're using coh on a merc that has capped resists
do as they said, guardian angel, it's gonna divide all elemental dmg by 2.5
or if you think she dies to melee hits, then shaftstop

you don't need stormshield to run chaos on softcore

You're right Lilith I 1) had CoH on hand and 2) tried the exact gear from QuQu & Mass guide. Stacked resists are because of common Lower Resist curse in Chaos Sanctuary, but overstacking exactly 68@ on merc at lv80 sounds like too much... I hope Templar will help out, I'll see it and if it won't help try Shaft as well.

Yes, a2 might aura w/ pride, runemaster with max ds (5x LO runes @ 100% ds) 27 fcr ammy, arach, 2x 10 fcr rings w / some bo sticks or twin hotos (sorry I'm old school) and a nice bo helm w/ some sockets to throw 2x bers in. Medusas gaze slows enemy target, along with cleglaws (although kb can be rather annoying on a melee char) add that with decrepify an you bring them to a standstill lol.

But as all mentioned there are plenty of ways to go. Let me put it this way the ias bp most mentioned might give you a better refresh rate on attacks but this build is 100% double damage doubled and doubled again. So pretty powerful. If that's not for you I recommend still maintaining a set up as well as maintaining your fcr for teles. You can always hit your fhr BP with charms if need be. Your pvming for peet sake. Other than that if you think you kill fast then keep what you got. You know what they say if it ain't broke?
