nerd rage?

I don't fully agree that a usefulness of SS is based around: "which one will get me closer to base str/dex stating?"
if it's a standard bva then yeah sure the current SS is much better for that purpose. if it's a build that has that extra 63 +str in it's gear or uses str/vita split stating anyways to increase damage.. maybe it makes sense to use the aegis instead.

although it's just a preference on items and it's not necessarily gonna result in a "better" build, and it sure doesnt justify the cost of these 08 relics, and I've never found myself wanting to use one on *any* build personally, I can see it having it's use somewhere.
more for a trophy type of build imho. Im not a bvb specialist so maybe they might disagree with me.

08 storm sucks - Regular storm over this anyday. The only exception is 09 storm.

08 SS is only better if you have the STR for it without adding extra for it.

1.09 Stormshield and the current one are identical...



And if you want much lower defense and to run/walk slower, which effects the speed you can Whirlwind.
