Conv zealot without dual dreams sound kinda silly tbh...

ive done it and it works just fine at start of ladder

idk why people worry about build too much

think of it like this

using same gear found

ar is 2k with fana and some more ed
ar is 1k with conv and less ed but anything element gets super boosted

with fana you hit 3x% of time and slightly faster
with conv you hit 90%+ of time and slightly slower

conv zealots with auras from items have their own guides.

If youre only hitting 1k ar without fanat and only 2k ar with it you must be doing something very very wrong

hitting 1-3k ar with conv aura+zeal level 4 isn't unusual, but is enough in this case.

I'd like to see you address some of the ctc items, which I feel makes the best use of conviction. Nice start on this guide.

When I make a pally for fresh reset I max both conviction and fanat as I never know what I'll find. I can say Voice of reason (and arcing vendored wands with 400 light damage ) is very easy to make and works excellent on a new ladder pally w/conviction. Down the road when Ive an oath or grief (insert nicer items here for later season) with fanat and vor/gimmershed/rift (dreams) with the conviction side. Basically phy wep zeal or smite + fanat, hit w and conviction + elemental wep and or ctc's!) This means no immunes to worry about


I'm with you on conviction for new pallies, and its super party friendly, but then using "famine" as your general wep doesnt address "cheap and likely assemble-able" upon reset.

and the famine thing, thats why i made that cheap hybrid too

This is like making a Smiter using concentration. Does it help & add damage ? Sure, but not near as as effective as Fanaticism would be.

Does Conviction help ? Sure, but Fanat is 10x better why wouldn't you use it.

If you want a "fun" non CC build this is cute I suppose, but ultimately not very practical
