Great bow or Diamond bow are the two only real choice, depending on the merc's other items

with an act 2 offensive (might) mercinary from nightmare dif
and make it wear a pride polearm for (concentration)

The merc is important as a subsequant damage dealer for killing big shit in PvM

When Diablo comes out in 8 player Hell and you're by yourself trying to get good xp
You'll be standing there forever smacking him around with a rogue merc at your side


and this shit I keep seeing about WF + Rogue Merc makes me sick
WF = bad minimum damage which in turn = bad average damage, the high max on WF is deceiving. Very deceiving
WF = slow slow slow slow, even with fanat aura effecting you, you'll still fire 2 arrows to the 3 that a GMB Faith would fire
WF = bad AR, 1/6 shots will miss with a WF on top of it's slower IAS. Faith bows with +300% AR do not miss monsters in PvM

Case and Scenario = Faith Bows are reliable damage and due to the superior speed, do inflict just as much damage as a WF
the real bonus you're getting out of using Faith in PvM is that you still get to use a mercinary who can deal damage
as well as walk up front and help your valkyrie tank. This is very important if you are running a bot that you don't want to die

330% ed faith gmb: 60-309 (184.5 avg) damage.
Wf with 40% ed jewel @ level 90: 39-546 (292.5 avg) damage.

Wf deals a shitloads more damage! And WF has things like KB which allows you to use LOH gloves instead of kb ones = more damage and res.


Wow this is just retarded.

With faith gmb (level 14 aura) you need 92% ias to hit 7 fpa.

With WF (socketed 15% ias jewel) and faith merc you need 92% ias to hit 7 fpa. Since wf has 35% base ias you only need 60% from gear instead of 92, which makes a HUGE difference. You can use atma's amulet with wf, for example and that adds lots of damage if you are using strafe alot (you can also use things like razortail = lots of mroe dmg).
How is your faith faster?


you really are an idiot if you have so low ar on a physical damage bowazon. With full dext, fana, penetrate, damage charms etc you shouldn't have to worry about your ar.

Play the game yourself and you might learn the very basics.

greath bow got best -wsm and you got 100% perf ias breakpoint on your merc with 45/120 helm with the fana aura from faith [ if 15]
got one by myself it works great but ain't use it atm so its for sale on non ladder eu if you'r interested
