make a hammerdin and equip him with grief - this is also the first thing i was thinking

but after some playing and thinking, i turned more towards adding some hammers (instead of foh as i did before) and flexibolity to a smiter. And thats littlebit different then hammerdin.

i will repeate that its more pvmer then pvper. and more smiter then hammer, and also i dont need alot of fcr.

If u like grief im happy for u u can use it. And if u dont like silence sorry then. But dont be fanatical about it. Look i dont say building a pure hammerdin with dmg as high as u never would need instead for discovering some more fun playstyles is retarded.

Im not being agressive just telling what i think.

And by the way, after searching some more info and thinking today about it i realised that smiter without a grief isnt a real smiter anymore. (In the sence of pvp smiter i mean) And pvm (mostly trist) actually to. But then i think this is maybe exactly a thing that makes Vanquisher different from Smiter. Same as not being just a hammerding with Grief iequipped.

Hi agane guys and girls

Here we go agane, some more feedback i want to share,

After some playing and testing i came to a conclusion that smite without grief is not serious at all. The 340-400 dmg that it gives cannot be compared to anything. Without grief just forget about smite. So after i came to this conclusion i made a grief 396 pb. To put in stash ant switch for smiter vs smiter or ubers.

And if im going to switch anyway. Using hoto in all around hammer pvm mode can also be nice. Giving me 50 fcr instead of 30. What i pretty like and find enough for this char. I dont really need highest fcr bps. So i made a hoto 32.

But then the other day i was looking trough the runewords to see if theres some interesting one i could use. And uniques to. And i discovered that Asteron actually has 85 to dmg to. Ok its not 340-400 of the grie, BUT! I saw also that it has 33 cb what is nice to. But what interested me even more is 80-240 magical dmg. I was like wow this is interesting. Because i already tested that u can have enough smite speed with concentration, with fast weapon like phase blade or caduceus. And even maxed fana dosnt give just a littlebit more dmg. So basicly conc if good for both of them, smiter and hammer, which is perfect for vanquisher. AND the big thing is. Concentration increases the magical dmg from the Asteron to!!! Now i so want to calculate somehow what for dmg it will be. The 80-240 dmg from Asteron and 27lvl conc.

Roghly calculated my hammer becomes 6.8 from 1.7, thats four times. So the dmg from the Zsteroon would be 320-960 well well well thats interesting. No daamage reduce against this huh.

I also pretty like, or thats actually the main reason why i got iterested in this weapon, is 4 to combat skills. This way my hammer becomes 7k+ plus. The point is a nice smiter weapon wich also increse hammer.

The only disadvantage of this weapon compared to hoto is lack of fcr. But well, grief doesnt have it eather. But i guess trang glowes, 20 fcr amu and 10 fcr ring and wizi in the case i really need it for rush can fix that. Also wizi takes less space in stash what i also like.

P.s. About silence i used. Becase some ppl expressed their how can i best describe it, not understanding the point of using it. Well it gives u skills res and ias. For a startimg kind of a smiter it pretty good.

So the only thing left is test it with a decent smiter.

So thats it. Tell me what u think about Asterons magic dmg and conc.

Have kind of tested the aster a littlebit in a pub smiter duel game and my impression was that aster still had a lilbit lower dmg. But gonna test it more cuz smiter there was kind of lilbit to strong for my pala. With full inv life sks. This i dun have yet.

For pvp, I'd Stick to 1 of two builds
Either:
helm:Coa 2x 15ias/15res
Ammy: 2pal/20fcr/str/dex ammy
Weapon: Grief pb 35+ias
Armor: Enigma
Shield: Elite Spirit 35% fcr
Glves: Trang
Rings: raven+sorb ring or bk
Belt: Dungos
Boots: ww's

will give u max smite ias with concentration, 75fcr and 86 fhr. could easily swap shield for exile for uber smiting, u nn fcr there anyways.

or:
Helm:
Coa Ber/cham'd
Armor: Nigma
Ammy: 2pal/20fcr/str/dex
Weapon: Grief PB 40ias
Shield: Elite Spirit 35%fcr
Gloves: Immortal King
Rings: 2x fcr/life/dex/str/res mixes
belt: dungos
boots: immortal king

both are decent, bottom has more life and 8more dr but doesnt have a free rings slot to sorb without sacrificing dungos or block% and can't lose ik boots for infernos if you need to sorb multiple elements without losing block% either. I use both setups though

But
1 ill not pvp alot, atleast while he stays vanquisher, or if i will it will be mostly phys or most probably smiter duel.
2 ill most probably not pvp using a hammer, and for pvm 50 fcr is enough for me.
3 cannot agree on coa because overall shako gives more to pvmer then coa. Like mf, manna and skill.
4 also four years ago palas were not using spirit yet, and i still dont get used to this idea so i dont like it to. Or maybe because i like moore to play smiter then hammer.

P.s. Maybe i got to play around with lw to.

Hi all agane,

Just some feedback,

After some time playing around the setup, what i have now is;

Items;
This will not change, most probably - Perf Shako ber, Eni MP 1k def, Raven 20/2xx, bk5, 30 mara, (i moght consider gosu 2 pala 20 fcr xx all res stats amu, but first i have to get one and then i dunno if i really want one)
perf upped bf (but i will switch them for perf lava goat, for 60 ias with cadu cta, for a smite brakepoint), this is used with eth zaka exile 44 res
50 mf not upped wt (normally that would be perf upped wws but while im pitrunning now its ok like this, they give dmg to anyway),
and dungo (bug belt will allow me to use bf agane, gives 10 ias, but now its very good)
and hoto plus spirit 35 for 75 fcr in total, wich is great, i dont have to swap or use any other fcr stuff
20 20 anni, 20 16 torch, 6 x 20-30 pcs, 7 x 5@ life/mf, and 40 gheeds,

Skills;
maxd - conc, hammer, smite, vigor
10 holy shield, opened fana and zeal, redemption, meditation, salvation, and going to open conv on 97

Stats;
dex 100
rest vit

In the end i have;
7k hammer dmg, nearly 2k smite dmg, 3.5k life, 250mf, max all res, 40 dr.

Have also Lo lying around to make Grief pb in case i want a serius smite dmg, but even in UT this Exie plus caduceus cta with smite conc skills (looking for one now) plus lava gout will be nice enough.

and yes, i use Conc for Smite to, good aura for both Hammer and Smite and still have great speed and dmg.

p.s. in case im not feeling like teleporting and pushing all those buttons all the time. And want to use just a single left mouse klick. The button that was like ogirigally designed to be used in this game for attack. And wanna play with some noobs abound. I always can use one point wonders zeal and fana that are both like 20 lvl now from items. I always can kill some monsters with caduceus cta with 296 ed. And my might merk will give enough support to me to.

2 p.s. Merk uses Treachery non eth mp (ofc its the way to go), i use it to sometimes, non eth (yet) reaper with shael, and eth delirium bone visage.

dropped wts for wws, have now upped wws 65 life, 17x def, 18x ed
gheeds for pala combat skiller life, and put view skills to holy shield, so now i have 3.8k life instead of 3.5k and exactly 2k smite dmg and 7k hammer dmg, ill get some more higher life pc sks and 5@ res scs, and it will be 4k life soon.
merk also uses now eth reapers shaled and gully 15 ias instead of delirium,
also cta caduceus is now 5 bo instead of 3 (but 28x ed instead of 29x ^^) maybe gonna make one in 2 to concentration caduceus i got.
ah yes, and also made 37/397 grief pb and 35 fcr st 42 all res spirit

and lol discovered that deadly strike and critical strike doesnt work with smite. Or i didnt knew that or i forgot. Or i mistake them for crushing blow all the time. And yesm cb works with smite. If u wonder.

i was just thinking do i really need those lava or ik glowes plus boots to get some ias for the cta caduceus plus exile swap getting nicer smite speed. Because if i want very high smite dmg ill use grief anyway. And it has already more then enough ias. And bloodfists plus ww gives 100 life and 15 dex and 30 fhr. Which is minimum to have. And ik doesnt gives that much life and str i dont really need, and dex i already have 15. And lava is only for zeal fun lol time what is totaly not serous. Can lol around with bloodfists to ^^ Basicly im looking for all around thing. The same reason why shako is so much more imho then coa. All around.

oh and some other question, not really related to this build, just have a friend with last wish ut smiter, and hes wearing Lying of hands, for 350 damage to demons, but i have read in the builds section that it doesnt work with smite. And some other Vanquisher build (posted link in first post) says it works. So does it or not?

is there any way to wear coa still have decent items and keep no points in str?

p.s. btw, i got wts back, and wanna 15 dr 2s and some average res coa, socketed with ber and 15 ias and i think rather 3x ed then 15 res jevel. And 40 ias grief. THis way i can still use bloodfists. Otherwise if not max ias on grief. THen lava gout or some nice 20 ias glowes.

Another question,
i found somewere that ed that is not from weapon works on smite, is it really so? Because i always were thinking that its not. If it works, why not use forty then on smiter? Or 70 str from eni and skills and run walk are better? Not so serious question but anyway.
