My current (not finished) USEast nonladder barb has 21k defense and almost 10k ar. and I like mauls. Theyre cool.

As for low AR, Angelic/Raven seems to get me to about 12k AR and I've killed 2 smiters together against me, so i think that should be enough AR (granted i 2 hitted both of them)

but whatever floats your boat.

vs good bvb you will need closer to 20k ar(prolly more considering they have shield)

on classic before exp came out before ith etc and there was only executioner sword + lances, lance barb hold theyre own pretty good

if you can stay out of range and clip its possible to win in pubs, with enigma and tele people probably get smart to it
