I'd like to add that the sorc's chant is at lvl 43 with her standard pvm gear on and grants about 4.3k damage, rather than 5.5k+ if people don't want to carry the extra buff gear in their stash. I personally keep mine on a spare mule. I'd also like to mention for those that are starting the ladder fresh (or those that can't decide what type of character to make just after the ladder has reset) that this character is an excellent choice.

So i made one of these using extremely cheap gear that cost me around 30fg (shako, occy, lidless, vmagi, tal ammy, sojs, arach, frosties, silks, storch, anni; no merc)
just wanted to use her in normal to rush and level bumpers. I've already got 2 at lvl 40.. it's awesome, so much faster than doing it any other way

I really haven't played a character that's more fun than this, I plan on making a serious one that can solo hell eventually

Wait...iirc you can't use static against a lite immune monster...

You can't, but not all of them are light immune. I just use it to quickly knock down the ones that aren't to 25% of their total life so that the merc can hack them down that much faster (especially useful if they are fire immune, but not light when the merc's enchanted fire damage won't reach them).
