Just an idea when looking at your Setup#10 - but could be usefull to any builds.
About stating : I see you got 186str (156needed for storm + 30from storm).
Just stat 126str (after all bonus except storm's), then equip some +30str items, equip storm, remove +30str items.
I'm sure you can switch W and still get storm equip.
I'm pretty sure this still works when leaving/joining games.

You can save 30stats.

Also Eld in Stormshield save 20dext for MB at level94, but -15% in it would save 23str.
And -15%jewel could have some other nice mods, without being too expensive.


/edit (extra-minor statement)
in Classic, resistance penalties are 0/-20%/-50%
And LoD actually decreased those penalties, thanks to Anya quest + torch/anni :
LoD penalties with 10@res on torch/anni : +50%/+10%/-50%
LoD penalties with 20@res on torch/anni : +70%/+30%/-30%

However I was referring to pure game penalties, regardless of quests and/or items.

As you can see, I sacrifice some raw damage and life to combine the vital safety goals with 50%DR, a decent amount of –ELR, some lightning stack, and some lightning (or fire) absorb.
The life and damage could be higher with higher-end equipment (since you’d use lifers, and you could have life/strength/dexterity on the ring and/or amulet). My equipment contains a low hoto, low mara, decent viper, mediocre anni and torch, and an otherwise clean inventory (which you’re free to fill up with life charms, skillers, fhr charms, etc.).


Comes close to my setup, where I go with only 35% DR. Instead of using Wisp to absorb Lightning DMG and Dungo to gain max. DR, I'd prefer another setup though:

Light Absorb from TGod's (integer) should be superior to Wisp's percentual absorb, especially vs. SOULS as I recall.
I'd therefore sacrifice 2 open sockets for "Ber"s ((i.e. Viper + Griffon's) and add TGod's to my setup (which also adds 20 STR + 20 VIT). Not needing the Ring slot for Wisp anymore enables you to wear another FCR Ring (and a FCR Ammy, which I'd suggest) to swap Mages out for Bloodfist for easier reaching of the 60 FHR.

Be carefull as wisp may offer a greater protection vs souls than TG, when your res are pierced by level11 conviction (-80%res).

Actually, I believe +80%stacked res (fire+light) is the way to go for HC.

syno i prefer this bulid but it little expensive rare orb 5 light 20fcr xx res or sks good bonus ( t s , es free skil) helm ofc 3 20 2 sox 2x 5/5rbf amu 2 sorc 20fcr eni mp storm -15req 9dex 7fhr or witch bonus res 2x rings 10fc 18str -20 life res arach magefists if u dnt need cold res shadowdancers boots only i see this option ( maebe a ldurs if u got very small fire res witch stash charms res )

end bulid payed u free tele from eni free thunders storm from orb and much dmg vs hoto ot eschu u dnt add many str ofc only u need search rare orb and rings for res

As long as your efficient res reach 85% with TG (ie : as long as you stack enough), then yes, TG is better than 1wisp 20%.
Actually : ( 85%res ) = ( 75%res + 20%absorb), and then comes 20 integer absorb on TG.

About 2xWisp 20% :

( 75%res + 40%absorb ) = ( 95%res)

Against 400 light damages or less, TG > 2xWisp
Against higher damages, 2xWisp > TG.

I dont know exactly how much damages deal Souls on their maximum (extra-strong, fana/might as long as it boosts light damages), but it should be closed to 400, if not more.

Anyway, from experience, GA+TG+stack = always healed from souls, regardless of their mods.
