maybe it was ur chaos claw that did it..and maybe u hit deadly strike which doubles posion and physical dmg...remember fools claw when equipped gives ar bonus to chaos claw too

kb is an offensive mod and works on the claw that has it. so chaos can't kb unless i have KB on gloves/belt/helm/amulet//ring/boots/charm :P

wronk.

knockback will trigger on all melee or ranged weapon attacks at 50% regardless of damage, against other players (size = medium).
FHR will never knockback your opponent, however when you knockback someone they are always placed into FHR

for most attacks, you must deal 1/16 of their HP to do 37.5% chance of knockback
1/8 of their HP to do 75% chance of knockback
1/4 of their HP to do 100% chance of knockback

with some exceptions, notably all throwing weapons, bone spear, and all bow/crossbow attacks, you need to do 2x the damage for the same brackets;
1/8 of their HP for 37.5%
1/4 of their HP for 75%
1/2 of their HP for 100%

with knockback, you will always have a 50% chance of knockbacking + fhr in addition to the chances listed above of just FHR.

bonuses on your offhand weapon are not used when the other weapon is striking
things like +ar, ds, cb, ow, damage, knockback, itd, -defense, etc are all ignored and won't do a fucking thing
state based effects like +skills, auras, etc will apply

My main question was how long does knockback take effect and can fhr or anything else shorten it? I remember stun plus doublethrow has locked people up but that's because of stunning as well as knockback.

From what I read knockback is pretty much the same as fhr just distancing you too.

the movement on knockback is instantaneous and doesn't interrupt anything
it simply puts them into their FHR animation, just like dealing enough damage on an attack would.

faster hit recovery modifiers lower the duration of the hit recovery animation
when your hit recovery animation is playing, you can't do anything until its over. being put into the hit recovery animation interrupts whatever you were doing
