There is a reason why gm rules exist and that is to create a general sense of balance between the characters and to give some characters a fighting chance against other characters.
If we were to rewrite the rules, it would be impossible to balance all characters as each character type has different vitality/energy point values, which could never take into account all variables...

And I do believe it says somewhere in the rules that you cannot increase your resistances above 85%, meaning a paladin who has maxed lightning resistance for 10% more resists could not wear tgods, Edit: sorry it also says you can't use sorb if your resistances are at 85%.
There is a balance from the current rules, a 'loophole' you propose just creates flaws in a character in other fields.

Since nobody already said this, I'll point it out.
75% psn length reduced is indeed the cap.
But hell difficulty doubles the duration of poison (-100% psn length reduced in practice).
So in hell mode you can have up to 175% effective psn length reduced, which makes the rule making sense.
(And unfortunately he cannot be IRages multi, since his trolling has some knowledge of the game too, unlike this mongoloids..)
