perhaps you dont need insight (use pride instead of it), if you use 2x sojs. but its different from ppl to ppl (spammers, slow killers etc)

When I start the game i usually go straight to eldritch (sp?)
When i CE 1 guy i tend to have 10+ guys to summon, and even with sojs that takes ALL my mana. And then i need to teleport to shenk, then curse, CE, summon, go to trav, etc.
I can do an entire run and never use pots with insight golem.
Sure you can get higher damage output from say pride golem, but it's easier to play with insight. (side effect of MED is a low level of life healing, helps minions.)

oh would you stop saying that the summon necro is the best pvm char it is not..

in pvm its about using w/e gear you can get and here the necro gets slow as fuck and even with elite gear it is still slow I use a sors or hdin over a necro anytime

You can play a naked summon necro through hell and not die if you know what you're doing.
You don't have to have any gear, this is my personal build, but it can beat hell without help and with no gear.

it will need a merce to kill or good golem.. lvling is slow

your army is not imortal but yes skill>gear

and a sors with starters gear or hdin can also do hell easy

well hdin got nerfed so cant kill all... but nothing a decent merce cant do

I never said they were good at magic finding.
The only MF characters are frenzy barbs and sorcs.
IMO

1. Hammerdin = Nr.1 Mf char ;-)
2. you dont need other gear ok, but you need full regs^^

btw haloneya is right, hes not best pvm char
