Don't stat ES unless you are going to go for 95% and atleast the 1:1 ration on mana-dmg absorb, otherwise you will die quickly.

I'd go with a Defensive Char when playing an Ele in 2on2.

The Orbsorc does not do anything much, right? Go with Blizzard(vita) and TvT with Traps/Bowa... I played this about a year ago and It was amazing...
1hitting most chars (if they cahnge gear to play against your elemental dmg makes them incredibly vulnerable vs. Bowa) made it quite easy to deal with almost anything. The only problem were some ES Fb sorcs, but the bowa usually got them pretty good. Also FoH teams we're shit, but my NL-Skill was awesome =)

In TvTs tactic is very important and also knowledge of your character is a big deal. Having a good tactic vs. most opponents is better then playing a well-known combo.

Play something you're confortable with and don't think to much about what you should play to make a perfect team. The game we all love is about fun, right? xD
