Bad guide I'm afraid.

I've tried alll the merc setups / weap setups you could possibly think of for speeding it up. For consistancy/speed/exp this is the best setup. I would get nearly 200k exp at level 98 in Auto tele baal runs every 2-3 minutes. I'd like someone to show me their barb that is faster for exp per minute.

The faith merc will take ALOT of damage by seis and in by nihl every game. Guillems is terrible.. as i explained in the guide (well before it fucked up) this barb was 98 like 6-7 weeks into ladder.... I wasn't going to waste my FG on unneccesary gear that'd I'd be selling in 2-4 weeks after 99ing. when it would be worth half of what i paid.

I'd like someone to meet me in an 8 person game and race my terrible barb

well with my old baba I could join throne before w2 almost everytime (while the baalrunner used autotele), and if I would use botd wp build it would proll be even faster, but now I don't have a cs-baba anymore, but I never watched the exp I got, didn't rly matter to me, since I didn't care.

and faith merc doenst take much dmg at seis lol, she never died neither at nihl :/

Guiillumes isn't terrible but if I understand, you're not using act1 faith merc so arreats probably would be a better option.

But using SOJ isn't the best option when you'll get more mana using a fcr/90mana ring..you could prob even switch wiz back hoto then.

You could also replace your bo skillers with max/ar/life gcs (only prob with that is noobs will think you're a noob cos crap bo^^).

For nihi you need DR items so natures peace could be used there.. (and cham helm).

Personally I'd probably use lawbringer instead of storm to make things easier at seis.

As you said I would have had a crappy bo with max/ar/lifer gcs, if u remember correctly the barbarian that got into the good private baals was ALWAYS the one with the highest bo for party. I wouldn't be getting into very many priv games with a lvl 3x Bo. I never really seemed to have any issues with seis, the ONLY place I died was at infectors seal from the mana burn/melee/iron maiden combo and this only two times in couple months. (For some reason it happens here alot more often than anywhere else) Also, last season I started off with like 3kfg and it would be a bad idea to overpay for dueling gear/charms when my barb is a pvm barb and it would do next to nothing for my speed and only prevent me from leveling up any faster. (not being in any good runs)

I'm confused about the last thing, you say i need DR but then u suggest i remove a ber from my helm and use a cham just so nihl doesnt corpse explode me which never came close to killing me. As u can see from the video nihl is super easy if u tele passed him and howl the monster back towards direction u came from instead of into the back/side walls. I don't see how that part works out.

I completly hate the idea of having no block and low DR while trying not to die and get as much exp as possible in a short period of time. Ive seen this combo at seis many times: Fana, Might + amp damage with couple monster packs on seis spawn. Pair that with no block and I dont think itd work out well for ya, definatly not in a speed sense.



This barb is terribly slow he would be doing this in like 4-5 minute runs in 8 person games. At level 98 he suggest using 35 fcr tops = 2 FCR breakpoints lower than the one my barb is using this wouldnt even be close to fair comparison in time. Think about all the teleing I do in game. While recording im going at least half the speed teleing i normally am. (fps from above 200 down to 60-70) delays between teles and everything. I still had Diablo up and cleared before him at a third of my regular FPS with other members in game (would have be full if season wasnt dead by this time). As I stated several times my barb is ALL about exp per minute at the start of a season on a quite a low budget. I was the 3rd legit 99 of uswest (Sweet-Jane a sorc and Aida a zon beat me) Id say I did pretty darn good for what i was aiming to acheive. I never once came across a faster berserker barb and all the ones i did come across without 105fcr after seeing the speed in which my barb could tele they immediatly switched to 105 and began setting faster.

There is one (1) key point to this barb that makes it faster than any other build for spawning Diablo and killing Seal bosses.

Howl... this skill alone makes the barb one of the safest characters in the game...

You do not have to worry about packs... and you can run full game mf'ing just off of boss monsters (not just main bosses)

I prefer grief+storm aswell, but it is a fact that using botd wp is faster, but more dangerous.

Yea fair enough using bo skillers at start of ladder but later on when everyone does fine with cta etc better to use max/ar/life.

When I said DR i mean integer damage reduction, this works extremely well vs the mobs at nihi.

The idea of no block or dmg red sounds bad but it can be done done fine without.. a lot of the time you are either amp'd or decrepified anyway.

My barb used eDeath champion axe and with faith merc it was awesome.

I had "low bo" due to max/ar/mf charms. He was ALOT better than my current barb which is using grief pb / lawbringer.

I didn't have any problems surviving in full hell games soloing chaos. And both of my setups deal more damage than yours.

Imho more damage = faster.
