To start, the conclusion
gerke shild is the protector of the es block sorc
gerke shild = unlimted fhr (exept vs smite)
gerke shild = 97% es sorc
gerke shild = your only defend vs ow-psn
gerke shild = +100@resist
gerke shild >+400 total life
(and thats are the stats on a no block sorc, they also get this huge benefits)
gerke shild = 74% block! (24%block, whitout stating dex/20x dex for max block)

gerke shild soc -15req 4repl life 9dex jewel

Defense: 221-268 (varies)(Base Defense: 68-78)
Required Level: 44
Required Strength: 133, whit a jewel, its 114str
Chance to Block: Pal: 84%, Ama/Asn/Bar: 79%, Dru/Nec/Sor: 74%
Durability: 172
Paladin Smite Damage: 10 To 17
+180-240% Enhanced Defense (varies)
+30% Increased Chance of Blocking
All Resistances +20-30 (varies)
Replenish Life +15
Damage Reduced By 11-16 (varies)

why is it so gzzz? why do you need dr-mdr-repl life?
i try explain !

1)+2% es
someone attacks you whit 10k (arround avarge pvp damage)
10.000/6pvp penalty *0.05(es) = 83life lost
83life lost -(18mdr)= 65 life lost
makes you life 83/65= 28% more effective (like 28% more life vs 10k elemental attack or magic attack)
add 15repl life / add mdr-dr overflow(its complicated, but adds another 20-30% bonus to you total dr-mdr(i testet it)
and your life becomes even more effective
(a total +/-40% bonus to life protection, from just a shild)
(i call that +40% sometimes +2% es / 97% es sorc)there is no name for it!
40%*0.05es=2% es

2) the terible things ow+psn attack do to your life (byebye life in +/-10 seconds)
(whit arround 65dr, its posible to completely have no trobles whit ow+psn baba/ama)
(whit 16 dr+18mdr just from the shild, you have no trobles at all vs a gt claw ww attack/mind blast)
no trobles means: you not loose any life vs ow+psn, when your at 1 life = immortal = imune

3) mana regeneration the basic advantage of es, if we not have this, we all would make a vita sorc!
avarage sorc have arround 150mana/sec from lvl1 warmth (fire skiller bild even +/-200mana/sec)
+/-350mana/sec from lvl1 warmth+insight on switch
+/-500mana/sec from max warmth+insight on switch
(google a mana regen calculator to know your exact numbers, couse it depend on sks/total mana)
1k life, allows to regenerate 1k/0.05(es)*0.75telekenisis = 15k mana, before you die (whitout dr-mdr-repl life)
so more dr-mdr-repllife, allows you to regen more mana before you die
what have it for use to regen mana, if your life is gone?

4)resist
the 18mdr, it do more then +70all resist
+30 normal@resist =+100@resist

5) fhr
dr+mdr=nn fhr vs normal attack (exept stunning attack like smite)
if you not loose arround 6,3% of your total life ever, fhr becomes useless, like vs a hammer.
15k hammer 6.3%=1984 life needed, or run into fhr motion vs hammer
(15k/6pvp*0.05es/6.3%*100%)
18mdr gerke+10mdr from your armor?=28mdr = 1540life needed, and you wil never ever run into fhr motion
((15k/6pvp*0.05es)-28mdr)/6.3%*100%
the more dr-mdr, the lower life is needed for never needing fhr!

conclusion

And about your math. It looks like right, but it isn't. Don't ever talk about 97% or 100% es, that doesn't exist. Gerke shield doesn't allow 97% ES. Yes, 97% would reduce the damage taken from hitpoints, but would increase the damage taken to mana, which it doesn't do. So don't use 97% or 100% ES terms please...
Also, this shield works only on "immortal" sorc. And that is horrible char anyway since you can't deal any dmg. It might kill noob pubs with half ik set, but not anything better...

and realy, psn-ow baba had big troble slaying this sorc
(and thats not that i dodge like a chikken)
couse i make it a sport, to take hits escape from death, and start full after 10second again.

why is that a sport? couse owning people bye killing them fast over and over again, until they zorb or leave game, make me borred,
this why i have 100 times more fun!
tanking them, also makes me dont care, my sorc can be absorbed
