Vs fire sosos ^^

Way too many other sources of Max Fire Resistances and Fire Absorb to worry about that.

don't worry about everything being "perfect" in planning a char if you are new to it, best piece of advice I can give.
other than that, read stickies and http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?i=562332 (which is better than stickies)
I'm not really familiar with the guides themselves on this particular char so I don't want to suggest any particular guide.

My personal experience with javazon was on a non-bnet realm and my item choices are likely going to differ from yours because of the availability of items, jmod, 6/40 javs, 2/3/450 javs, caster amulets, etc etc. Don't worry about things being perfect because if you're back from 4 years of not playing you will likely want to rebuild at some point to better suit your playing style once you get used to the character, or rebuild based on what items you can get.
I heavily suggest using enigma instead of some other armor so you aren't a sitting duck and can be more evasive, as well as so you can telestomp on opponents. Try to reach ias/fcr bps and crank out as much +skills as possible with the rest of your setup. Stash switch setups can make duels easier vs some opponents, although I used jmod in most matchups having a stormshield in the stash was of great help. Having alternate setups (even at the cost of losing a bp when using them) is useful. For my "ideal" setup (the one I used given all item options, although this is just my opinion, not saying this is best this is just what worked best for me) I went with 68fcr(arach/amulet/ring/helm)/99ias(jav/45ias+facet jmod/javagloves)
For a skill layout, its pretty simple, 1 point passives, max out cs synergies as much as possible after that, you want cs to hurt as much as possible for your char level.

Again, don't worry about having everything perfect if this is your return to d2, you will likely want to change things along the way as you learn you char. Not jumping on Maras because Maras is horrible or anything, sure you can pub with it but like.. I see it so often someone makes a thread "perfect char build" and lists Pmaras.. kinda similar to someone looking for a P peasant crown if you know what I mean. Javazons can get quite pricey with the items that work out for them, so don't worry about getting a perf character right away. You won't get it right on your first try.

Your gonna have to make good use of WSG if your going against a range of chars.
Javazons can be pretty easily sorbed, so phoenix is a good option to back up with some physical damage.

Phoenix has many uses on a javazon in pvp but none of them include vs. fire sorcs.

Mara's really has no place nor does a jmod in actuality.

Even with Titans, the damage is pretty horrible. Considering on realms 6/40s aren't going to come with physical damage mods, it's not worth it.
Javazons just aren't going to do too well in a BM environment.

Titans only use is vs. a druid. They serve no other purpose and if you can't afford 6/40 javs I would even recommend t-strokes over titans for general duels.

well it clearly states I have around 60k to spend on this char. Many posts are stating not to use maras or to use another thing, but they do not state with what build we should use it on, and what bps it will get us !!

So far, 20ias,with kb, 15/15 and a 4os ap w/100 life are new additions. But what jewels in the armor should we go? 60ias/60res? Or 30ias/30res and 2x 5'5 dies?

I am assuming everyone loves the griffs as well. No1 has stated otherwise. As for Jmod, are we going 20/20 die in it? Or what?
