Facets dont work with traps... that's all'aroung knowlende...
but in this case u release the light damage not "hierling" traps...
so ?

The Phoenix Strike acts as a soft points, not hard, so it doesn't help out CoT at all. Just wanted to point that out, so you should have a better chance finding just 2 Sin // 3 CoT.

I stopped reading here. Your guide must be crap if you don't think DTail is useful.

dragon tail converts physical dmg to fire dmg. hell monsters have 50% physical reduction. dragon tail calculates the fire dmg based on the reduced 50% damage.

after that, monsters have fire resists as well. some monsters are immune to fire, some immune to physical. even when they don't have immunity against either, you're doing very little damage compared to just charging and releasing.
