this is likely a stupid question but,

if i used oath to summon iron golem would the golem follow from game to game, and would the golem still be there if i unequipped oath/switched weapons


the reason i ask, is because i've used +x to shadow master claw to summon shadow master, then switch weapons, and the next time you cast a spell, the shadow master disappears

The IG should disappear if you do not have a hard point in the skill, i.e. only a necromancer could carry a charged IG to subsequent games.

Aside from this special case, the IG charges are tied to a particular item (e.g. Oath).

Which means no unequipping/swapping weapons either.
