Helm: Eth Gaze
Weapon: Lawbringer CS

to be honest, your setup would probably work better as long as youre not getting IM'd... the reason i went with CoH is not only for the resists but the life leech. the less damage / more leech your merc has, the longer he will survive IM. im not really sure how IM works with % Damage Reduction... the only thing i could say for sure that your setup would excel where mine doesnt is on infector... because lawbringer knocks back de suis and vizior no problem (they dont hit him at all)... but infector can definitely give your merc trouble
its a toss up.. youd gain the %DR on infector, but lose the needed fire res... and lose leech for surviving IM
whatever you do though.. make your lawbringer in a broad sword or crystal sword... he's not made to do any killing, just aid with sanctuary and decrepify
