nice guide but, dont get me wrong, in my opininon mages suck. they have a low foh/conv, they are easily stacked and then they are just a weaker version of an hammerdin.
they are very good for public duels due to surprise effect. great work anyway

Yes but if you have foh, they have to swap out gear for light resist, and having foh doesnt take too much away from hammer damage because hammers are unresistable and always do mass damage.

BTW what damage setup does everyone like most? The 50/40 seems interesting. Your FoH would definetly have to be respcted forcing them to put on alot of sorb gear, and 8K magic damage is still a ton. I also believe you could be more offencive overall.

about conv, the way i THINK it works is that each aura takes effect every second or so (might be more or less, i'm just guessing) so if you got lucky and switched to conv at exactly the right time (right before the "pulse") you could have instant conv. if you did it just after the pulse, it could take a full second or whatever the length of time is between pulses.

at least that's how i THINK it works. i believe it also works in reverse, so there's a moment when they teleport away where they might still be in conv, before the "pulse" checks to see if they're still in range.

so i don't think it's a guaranteed .5 seconds, i think it varies.

Do you play on east now? I know you were formerly west-only.

Just so I don't spam your lovely guide, the pulse idea from the guy above doesn't work anymore. Aura flashing is a no-no.
