its much easier to play with then nova + you can stay out of range from some chars which is always a problem as sorc even if you can tank a lot

I might've explained it a bit bad but these are the general tactics that has worked for me through the time i've played this character.

The use of Nova+Lightning is a dangerous combo. Just Nova is a bit weak versus some chars such as Hdins which probably has a lot of stacked resistance.

I would not trade in Magefists for any gloves. Mages gives us plenty of Mana Reg which is important. I dont see the reason why to use a 3 Light 100 Life Amulet. If you're aiming for 95 ES, life is not very neccesairy.
I also strongly believe that Griffons will deal more damage than a 2 Soc Helm with 2 Facets.

1) i didnt say anything about amulet
2) 3light/20fcr/2sockets tiara/diadem gives more damage than griffon
3) magefists aren't necassary .. frosts give more mana for an example .. bloodfists gives some life + much fhr .. i prefer these to mana regen since it's massive anyway

PS! I know this is your guide, sorry for different suggestions but it would be better in that way in my opinion

Have you tried it out? If a 3/20/2 deals more damage than Griffons?
Sure, you could trade in Magefist for Frosts, but then you'd have to find a 20 Fcr Amulet, which is even more difficult than finding a 10 Fcr. But then again, Mages gives 1 to Fire Skills, which gives even more Mana Reg so I think It'll be quite the same. And therefore Mages are better since a 10 Fcr Amulet is easier to find then a 20 Fcr.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

1) yes, i have tried 3/20/2 with facets .. Gave like 4k more damage to lightning with 1 facet
2) if you would use 3/20/2 then you wont need 20 fcr amulet since 20fcr come from helmet ..

Are you still talking about changing gloves or just the helmet?
