You could just get some damage taken goes to mana. A cheap way would be to ith your kiras, and wear tal rashas belt. Actually tals belt would be very good because it would glitch a bunch of dex onto you and 35DTM. You dont need meditation then.

Too expensive. waste of Fg or Runes or w/e u wanna use to make the char. If your going all-out on a char, make it one that is PvP-based, or at least can do baal runs >.<

Well not in my opinion I already saw builds that use Crown of ages "COA" or Exile with lastwish
and here you KoKoMal Shield Wich is cheap and kira's ? with lastwish ?

Not a bad build ... but for the sake of economics, I put together a smiter at the beginning of the HC ladder (I only play HC but retain some SC accts for certain duels) at the beginning of the ladder there is not a lot of high runes, etc. So I built it on economics.

Everything pretty much the same, my choices:

Helm: I use Kira's perf um'd instead of Guills (I know you left it up to either or ..)
Armor: Lionheart (highest rune is a fal) while it provides lots of str (for gear), dex for mb, vita and 30 all res ... (thought about Duress too but needed the Str and didnt have the Um)
Weapon: I used black (cheap inside a flail) now I use a 2os 3skill double shaeld Heaven's Light (60%IAS/33% CB)
Gloves: Dracs (because I don't have exile)
Shield: Gris (nice vortex damage on smite) plus inherent good res with 3 Pdiamonds (I found it and it is cheaper than ko ko mal usually on the ladder)
Boots: Gtoe - cheap, easy and 25% CB
Inv: Pcombats with life, str, life sc's, lifescs with ar (didn't start with any pcombats just life scs's and some where crappy, and whatever res I could find to stack)

Switch: Life tap wand to get the initial tap on mephy, baal, diablo ... the subsequent attacks while wearing dracs gives continuous LT

Prior to engaging, I pre-buff with treachery on the fire north of the red tp in trist .... that gives fade which = dr + even more res (my total res with charms is well over 300, I can stand in front of meph and do nothing for some time without dying ... I made it like this in case of lag spikes and what not).

I also receive a Baba's BO and my chanter's chant. Ofc chant don't do shit on smite, but I have 1 point in zeal and this takes care of all of those Phys Immunes that baal spawns (the ghosts and vampires) as well as anything not immune to fire (some of mephs skels) ... this makes clean up reallllll ez. I usually wear my hft for its bonuses and just clear using the above tactic (between smite and gg fire zeal) its cleared and I go get someone who doesn't have a torch yet. I do over 2k smite and with the 50%+ CB I kill them all pretty damn quick, never timed it but I would say under 3 mins with ease unless I am just screwing around).

Good guide, some of the items I use and this strategy will put things more in reach for some. Of course it also with the inclusion of Chant makes clearing much faster.

15/20 or 15/7 does the same thing, better.

Nice guide, cept one thing.....where is the exile? Lw + Exile = gg life tap.
