Only thing I don't like about your guide is your choice of merc. This guide wouldn't cut it in hardcore, especially if you're trying to MF in 8 player games. I would use an Act3 Cold Merc with lawbringer sword, stormshield, P-eth kiras socketed with um, ummed eth guillames. With an act3 merc, you don't even have to worry about getting hit.

Your use of phoenix shield is interesting and puts a nice spin on things, but your DR is really low in my opinion.

Obviously a 15ed (15% enhanced defense) eth bugged armor as the fort's shell is godly but if you cant obtain one dont sweat it.
