What about Azurewrath + LW for Smither?
I know Smither can solo everything but just for the fun of getting someone else helping you doing it?

Azurewrath because you dont overwrite lifetap like LawB.
Sanctuary does not increase your dmg… only the wielder of the aura (merc).
With this weapon combo, you would lose might and proc decrep less than 25% as often as a reaper merc.
Less ctc%, slower fpa than jab, only 1/2 hits can proc it.
You merc would have very low dps, close to no dmg at all vs non-undead (so poor sustain).
What’s worse? Sanctuary on merc is not only useless to you, it’s a nuisance as it pushes away all mobs.
As a melee build, you need better clear speed, not more survivability, and this merc is the exact opposite of everything you need. In fact, no merc at all would be better than a merc that only makes your life harder and that you would need to chaperone to help him survive.
