You are using SS and have Max Block as a consideration using Berserk Skill that removes all Defense to 0 right?

Swap your SS to Pheonix to add more damage, Max Block is pointless for a Berserk Skill Barb unless they changed this is D2R. The only reason you would use MB and high Dexterity (above 156) is because you are using 1 Base Concentration Skill vs Magic Immunes.

Research Berserk Skill, if you increase your damage with your current Attack Rating, then you will kill faster, also, LoH is better than Bloodfists, why Gores? Crushing Blow I am guessing, how about War Travs, it adds damage;

War Traveler
Battle Boots
Defense: 120-139 (varies)(Base Defense: 39-47)
Required Level: 42
Required Strength: 95
Durability: 48
Assassin Kick Damage: 37-64
+150-190% Enhanced Defense (varies)
25% Faster Run/Walk
+10 To Vitality
+10 To Strength
Adds 15-25 Damage
40% Slower Stamina Drain
Attacker Takes Damage Of 5-10 (varies)
30-50% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items (varies)
(Only Spawns In Patch 1.09 or later)

The added Strength also adds Damage, it is not just about Magic Find, you can also like the Vitality for more hit points for the barb build.

Arreats has Life leech, and you are using a Dual Leech Ring, where as using Berserk does NOT LEECH life or mana, hence the reason using a Phoenix vs SS, also, when using Conc Skill (1 base point) is the only leech you need from Arreats.

This is just my opinion, as for your AR, you could just use 2x Ravens which reduces the amount of stat points you put into Dexterity and more to Vitality while increasing your Attack rating... test out the changes I made... NOTE: I did not see your Amulet that you are using, I am guessing it is Highlords or Maras?

yes i am using highlords and gores combined. the dex ring i mentioned i made a mistake in. thats not the main build. its for when i do actually WW but ya i run 2x ravens most of the time as there isnt anything better i can think of to run.

havent used travs on a baba before but does the 15-25 dmg actually do that much diff ?

the ss is pretty simple it has nothing to do with def but all to do with actual block chances and the all res. i get phoenix would get me what up to 400% ed and some extra max res but id lose the actual blocking part wich is what saves.

ya i figured that part XD random elites and mobs i dont have much issues with they usually 1-2 tap anyway its the bosses that i lack the ar on indeed XD

then just more dex would help, or something like hsarus boots+belt (have to give up gore rider tho which sucks)

80-85% isnt bad though, its mostly their block that will make you unable to hit them. 90-95% is gonna be very hard though as def/ar have diminishing returns

i mean i know it isnt bad ya im hitting tooltip hitchance at 84-87 ish wich is fine i guess , just wondering if im missing anything that i could up withouth losing the actual dmg im doing
next season i'll try and fill up my invent with ar/max/life charms aswell as i didnt have the time this season cuz i started late and see how far i'll get on my AR part. still i like all the replies and options

apparently he has 2534 defense in hell, which isnt absurdly high

but he has a fairly high level, so leveling up ur barb will get you a better hit chance aswell

with 15.0k ar you should have 85,55% chance to hit him

with 25.0k ar you should have 90,78% chance to hit him

^ assuming youre the same lvl as him

another pretty good thing for defense is an act1 merc, her inner sight is very high level and will reduce enemies base defense (before stone skin in pvm or shout and such are applied in pvp)

so it reduces pretty much anything to near 0 defense

but then you'd have to give up your act2 merc, which is also imo not worth it

tbh i think you should just stick to 15k ar, its a lot of ar needed for a pretty small extra hit chance
