This was really helpful :) Thanks man
I gotta invest into an ammy and ring now, and i just bought a grief BA 35/400, guess i need a diff one lol

Damn :( yea you rly need that 40 ias for bloodfist setup

It also allows you to get 10 ias cb gloves which tend to be a lot cheaper than 20 ias ones, which is a nice bonus

Other than that, make sure ur grief pb has at least 36 ias, then ur good (needed for some specific slow counters where you need 46% ias)

Also your grief doesn’t need 15% ed so that helps with price

Meh most above is pretty outdated tbh

You should have quite a few setups but these are the most important:

Grief ba 48/48 pub setup:
Grief ba 40/400 (must be 40 ias for other setups)
Phoenix st 45@
Coa 40/15 cham
2/18 str dex amu
Trang gloves
Wisp20
10 fcr str dex life craft ring (if ur amu has 30 str you can go 5 str on ring with 15 Dex 60 life)
Dungo
25 Dex dancers (beats ww imo; save Dex for other setups and get an extra fhr frame)
Eni scarab 15-773+

^ can swap Grief ba to grief pb and use chamber coa

75/27 ba vs caster setup with phoenix:
Griffon cham or 40/20
Grief ba 40-400
Phoenix st 45@ or knight if nn res
Eni scarab husk
Arach
Trang gloves/magefist
Gore rider
10 fcr 23+ str 55+ life ring
2/20 50+ life amu (str nice add for dmg)
Bloodfist (10 ias with 40 from grief will get you 50 ias bp, and you’ll hit 27 fhr from this alone)
Wisp20/natures for oak

Those old setups just rarely beat Phoenix tbh, Phoenix firestorm is fixed and the 400% ed alone is equal to 26,6 points into smite dmg wise

1 cleansing/vigor
20 foh
20 holy shock
20 smite
20 fanatism
Rest into holy shield

Could go max holy shield less shock/foh but imo the foh route is better for d2r, since holy shield won’t add much dmg

There’s a lot more setups tho, spirit tg vs trapper, 125 fcr vs necro; exile vs barb for 33k def, smite vs smite setup with 50% dr; etc etc

Can link the whole thing on maxroll as soon as I get home if you want it

Also: hoz should never ever be used, doesn’t come close to Phoenix or spirit

125fcr vs nec and sorc. Rest is okayish

Recommend the vt route, right up there with strongest pvp builds and plenty of fun.

Stefbef rundown on point, whole game changed with the Phoenix/Firestorm fix.

Unfortunately, I miss the hoz days, although stash space is nice only keeping 2x Phoenix ST :)
