Then just stack a bit of dr, maybe fade from treachery and string of ears and you’ll be fine with maxblock

I agree it's not worth it to try and stack dr, I guess it just depends on how "budget" your smiter is.

For me when I made my hardcore Uber smiters the most important thing was a life tap wand to immediately tap Lilith, you can shop one from Drognan/Ormus/Malah. You need life tap on Lilith immediately and sometimes dracs takes forever to proc. As long as she is tapped and you are smiting you basically can't die.

Yes, if you had 96%, you would have 50% when not cursed, 46% while drecrep'd, and -4% while amp'd.

It would be a pretty bad build overall if you played with 96% DR tho...

CB dmg only gets reduced by positive DR%.
But it does not deal more dmg against a target with negative DR%.


Thanks, that was exactly what i was asking. I burn the keys i collect through the week on saturday morning, so ill test some dr when fighting Lilith and will write the result.

My smiter has good gear, except for grief and highlords which i dont have yet. Im playing on single player and i assure you you can die even with life tap on Lilith, if there are enough witches around (which is my case sadly).

Take the following as an example that you will still die if you don't REMOVE the Ranged or witches when going against Lillith... everyone told you to do this... so draw out the PACKS and kill them off, just ensure that Lillith stays put. Lock Lillith down in a closed room, then you can use Amp on Lilly and charge in (or tele) to kill Lilly off, you can also move into a better killing position.

Strategy first off... and why are you just using a Smiter to do Ubers???

I made a mistake... I stated "AMP" when I meant "Life Tap"... sorry for the confusion.

Not being amped is a far more effective solution than stacking DR. It's worth clearing a "safe zone" before aggroing Lilith so you got a clear space to fight her.
