The merc for a mosaic is probably the most irrelevant merc we could discuss…

Imo,
Defiance > holy freeze > blessed aim > prayer > thorn > might

Why might last?
Cuz it will most likely cause the leech overflow bug.

Important thing is
Give him the lowest possible dmg to prevent him killing the mobs while you charge up.

I transfer my nova’s self-wield scythe infinity on my mosaic merc.
And if I use mosaic for any easy area, or on lower player count, or to rush, then I swap for insight.

Nobody runs with a mosaic tho
Tele only
Or at worst, dFlight

Harmony would only matter for 2 seconds in town each new game, but sadly during that very short time frame where it could be of use the aura doesn’t even have time to activate on you lol

I wouldn't say nobody runs; that's pretty absolute.

People do run a little bit between teleports if they don't telestomp with 100% accuracy on every teleport. Sometimes you land slightly out of range of a mob, and it's quicker to run up to them and attack rather than teleporting again on top of them and then attacking. This happens all the time, and Harmony makes a huge difference in those small spurts.

Also, some people don't pick up Dragon Flight in their builds. Harmony is even more useful then.

Personally, I run, teleport, and use Dragon Flight. It depends on the situation.

yeah you run quite a bit on console/controller due to inaccurate teleports. makes frw a bigger factor

Thanks for your answers and advice. It's always good to see different points of view and your explanations. Thanks to everyone. In my case, I think I prefer the Might Aura, since sometimes enemies do a lot of damage and lower my health very quickly.

Not sure if you mistyped or I'm misunderstanding you, but just to clarify:
Might Aura will boost your offensive damage- it won't help you with negating the damage you're receiving. The only survivability help it may give is a slight boost to your life leach, because you'll be doing more physical damage. However, you should already be getting more than enough life leach from Cobra Strike.

If you're looking for some defensive help, you should pick up a merc with one of these auras:

Holy Freeze: To slow enemies around you, so that they attack slower and hit you less often.
Defiance: To boost your defense, so that monsters have a lesser chance to hit you.
Prayer: To regenerate your health (ideally with your merc wearing an Insight weapon and a Cure helm to get a fully synnergized aura)

Sorry, I'm Spanish, and sometimes I get things wrong. I use Google Translate. The aura I use on my mercenary is:

Defiance: To boost your defense, so that monsters have a lower chance of hitting you.

Because sometimes monsters hit me hard and lower my health significantly.

The mercenary has an eth forty infinity and Andy.

I'll look at the Cure helmet you mentioned, but I don't know that rune word, and I'm completely unsure of what the best base would be...

Thanks for everything, friend. You're very kind.

Ufff I'm looking at the runic word cure, it must be like the exile shield I have on a soapbox and when the aura sucks the corpses it makes a really annoying noise... it makes my head feel like a drum

No worries, just wanted to make sure!

The Cure helm works really well if you're using a Prayer Aura merc. But if you're using a Defiance Aura merc, your Andy helm will work just fine!

Thank you very much, I just saw that the aura on the Cure helmet isn't the same as the one on the Exile shield. There are so many things. 20 years ago it was easier to play, hehe.
