Grief is always the best option.
If you want the look of BA, it can be made in axes too.
Its by very far superior to anything else.

But the reason everybody is using grief pb for pvm is :
No need repair -> WW will break your weapons fast
PB’s shorter range allow you to have better control over what you target. BA is spreading all the attacks in a wider range so its harder to kill what you actually try to target.

If you still chose BA as a base, you wont lose much dmg using a non-superior base which will greatly reduce the repair costs.

But yeah, I very highly recommend using PB instead…
Quality of life is way more important than the look haha

Pvm it doesn't matter much unless your consistently in p3+ games.

Grief is noticeably better in p5 and higher.

Only reason to use botd is you don't have leach on rings which is pretty easy to get. If your consistently solo use whatever you want

I've ran botdz and death zerker in the past because I didn't want to respec my bvc to use grief pbs. Keep the griefz/beastz in stash for pvp, run some cheap botdz/deathz for pvm when leveling.
