well, ias is not the only relevant variable. if hustle/treachery allows you to gain just a little higher speed and CoH gives a lot more dmg, than CoH is still better. the variable you want to optimize as a first step is the quotient of average damage per hit divided by the number of attack frames. focusing just on one of these contributions alone is not a good idea (although going for a mediocre and easy-to-reach ias breakpoint is always recommended)

True. But those calculators are confusing me.

At the moment i am using Grief with 40% IAS, Last Wish in the other hand and Treachery for 45% IAS and some other stats. But if i look up my Merc's stats it only shows the 45%, shouldn't it be 85%?
Alternate i wanted to test, if its worth to switch to CoH, since it gives a +2 bonus to my Merc's Frenzy skill, wich increases also lil amount of IAS and %damage.

Try 5os runemasters lem'd with crafted helm blood .

He can only use Swords as i know.

How about YOU wear Marrowalk boots and cast Life Tap with the charges and change your mercs setup since it is doing all the killing.

3 EDIT: does +Life Tap (charge) wands still exist that you may use? Maybe even +3 Warcries + Life Tap charge knives?? Not sure they exist in this game, but maybe they do???

ty for your answer, yeah i could give him 2x Grief with 40% IAS and use Life Tap on the Council. Pretty sure ive somewhere on my mule Marrowalks. Not sure about the skill combinations of the spears/daggers, but i know warcries spears and daggers are still a thing. I was using gold find boots so far.

The +3 Warcries / +Life Tap charge weapons are knives (throwing knives), from recollection, you can buy them off of Act 4 and 5 (hell diff) merchants easier (the ones that heal you instantly and remove your curses... forgot their names. )

when dual wielding, each weapon has an its individual attack speed: weapon 1 has W1 ias + off-weapon ias, weapon 2 has W2 ias + off-weapon ias. in your case this is 85/45 ias

does that mean 85/45 will be calculated again somewhow or its just set at 45, couse the lowest one always counts?
