USE oak as meatshield to Get close.

Be unpredictible, and read ur enemy better than he reads you.
Try to suprice him on his bow side.
Now, thats how you Get close.
Now do short wirls right in front of his walk path, or triwirl him if he is immobile.
Long wirls he will just Get out of and namelock you and ur dead or low after.
The better and quicker you can damage him, the faster he dies and the more stunned he will become.
I prefer just running dual axe. Shield is boring, and if he have Java skills as well he will tear you up faster than you damage her.
This is already the sum of what I would do on my barb vs Zons, considering the matchup in question is in D2R.
If I made add, if you are a WW barb, it's a really miserable matchup especially if Zons really know what to do. The only thing I can suggest is, just like
said,
BE UNPREDICTABLE. In that way, you
may catch the zon on his bow-side and can land ww clip/s. Try to disappear from his screen/map so that he will guess where you would be, and surprise him with short-whirls via C/T tele. Remember, even tho he has max block on jav side + D/A/E, he still has substantially LOW LIFE, and 1 single successful clip from your ww could spell disaster for him with poison/OW.
Also do note that WSG is gone on D2R, in addition to the FHR/Block/Stun lock being nerfed to the ground (via patch 2.4) and so tri-whirling maybe once or twice may be risky but could be beneficial if you are quick to go in and out of zon's screen, and the zon too dumb to realize he is still on his bow-side and try to fight you via walk/run tactics. Of course, that doesn't consider your opponents knowledge/mechanics/reaction time, so tri-whirl at your own risk.
