No tonight will try again on new game. It seems bugged to me, I don't know.

Ye seems bugged. Try adding a small charm with fire or light damage for better visual indication of hits. Or just enchant with demon limb.
If you record u can watch it frame by frame or slowed down to count and confirm hits.
Use COS to improve hit chance. And make sure ur in close range, as assa wirl has crap range. There is also the issue with wirl attackspeed. Make sure its maxed, so use bos to be sure.

try testing with venom not buffed and no psn charms. I have seen it before where the ow is masked by psn

Ok so poison overides the ow display. It was recently explained to me..

In melee there has long been myth that PSN DMG negates open wounds
But truly it just negates the animation. Whichever has highest bitrate will override the other

In short the DMG from ow should apply but the animation wont or that's how I understood it

To test try no PSN DMG

Venom lasts .8 seconds in hell, OW lasts 8 seconds

I bet he is simply not hitting his friend

Because u need to hit him to proc ow...looking at it your ar shld be in the range of 5k+ with fury/chaos. If barb has 20k def, u will not hit him often. After hitting, you have 2/3chance to ow. Following the stats mentioned, you actually only have 12%chance to ow...if we talk about block where barb friend is using shield, u only have 3% to ow.

So yea 1proc in 30hits sounds about right
