Grief melee vs melee? Dafuq grief is explicitly banned in all forms of melee

You seriously say that Legendary Mallet out damage Grief for PvM purpose ? LM with right affixes can be bis in some PvP lagues ( like Zeal vs Zeal or something ) where Grief is banned, but in Throne Room where true champions are Grief is miles away as Dmg purpose..

There was a duel between grief vs erep. We’re not here to debate between banned or not. But rather can it be used to compete against erep. Reread the post I’m replying to.



LM hits way too hard compared to grief. About 500 damage vs 437.5. So clearly Grief loses. Crazy how you logged on so many times but wait till now to reply. True champs say Death beats Grief.

Can you show a picture 500 avg dmg legendary mallet pls. Personally i haven’t seen one on b.net yet.

Death is better on few build for PvM purpose, like Kicksin, Vengeance Paladin or depending on setup with Frenzy Barb or Zelot.

But for basic WW Barb example Grief is superior against other weapons, some 2H Eth BoTD Thunder Maul can compare to Grief as Dmg if we talk about Titan builds.

But again afaik there is no better Legenday Mallet on b.net what can beat Grief as Dmg if Grief is suitable weapon opinion.

e: Iirc there was Legendary Mallet ” Doom Mar ” on US East like 5-6 years ago which had similar avg dmg what Grief have but still Deadly Stike from Grief was superior against it if Grief was allowed. It was used on some lagues where only Rare weapons was used aka. Wallet Warrior versus Wallet Warrior. Personally i was too poor to join those lagues.
