can go with even lower fhr. work with what your items give you; if there is a breakpoint you can reach without big sacrifices, go for it. else just stack up on life from charms

0 is enough. fhr animation triggers on health loss, not on damage absorbed by mana. so 86 and 0 will function essentially the same as you won't get put in fhr animation often at all

On the Nova ES build. How close does Cm/Sunder get vs Infy selfwield?

You can get some benefit from Spirit Shield and can be a bit more flexible on rest of gear. Ie
- 3 Piece Tals w rest same or
- CoH vs Viper when keeping caster Amy

you're not gaining any gear flexibility since it's already very easy to reach 105 fcr with an infy build. there's nothing you would really want to swap out.

coh is especially bad on an es sorc as you don't need resistances. 3 piece tal gives you some mf while doubling your clear times, makes no sense either.

both are a+ builds and both clear at similar speeds. lightning does a bit better in high player count games imo.

novas are unkillable unless you're farming in areas with souls. you can semi-afk and still do well. requires no res apart from poison since you're es

lightning requires a tiny bit of aiming, positioning + health and mana potting. can be challenging to get max res, you'll have to rely on scs.

Just to piggy back off his, for es , use prayer merc with cure/coh/insight. You can forget about poison res and rock war travs instead of treks unless you need the fhr

This guy is speaking the truth. With that merc, I can run crafted mana boots.

And to piggyback off of the thread, what do you folks use for cbf? I was thinking of cham in my Griff. Bring frozen annoys me
