Yes use %Edmg +Str on the jewels and items,
this will add you maximum damage for smite attack or zeal attack.
But no works %Edmg in the Smite weapon only.
Smite Weapon use GRIEF +400dmg only.
+Str putted in your stats points is rising your damage,
dont be scared to put str points too.

% EDmg
Strength
= Damage
Zeal skill = % Deadly Strike adds
Smite skill = % Crushing Blow adds
