Then saw someone tag that person and say, "This isnt Old D2"

Implying Poisons res or psn damage works differently now

Just wondering how

I don’t type opinions. Only facts.

Asian market has different pvp rules thay allow enhanced use of poison. Thus asian market values Psn. And now that can join all 3 servers with 1 chatavher, server rules are no longer only applicable to that specific server in terms of items since you can move them acrosss servers.

Poison damage was not changed in d2r except for rabies.

Tri res boots are still shitty. Just more dumb people means more dumb people buying useless itemsc including tri res boots, which are always worse than a set or unique boots or crafted blood boots

Could imagine ppl seeing poisons res items sky rocket in value and everyone assuming that applies to all items now.

For pvp,
Psn res is valued more over cold as people start to realised that the only class doing cold dmg is blizz sorc. And for that its just not worth stacking, and if you really are looking to stack, u want to have another set of gear just for them (4sapp shield/rings/scs etc).
There are alot of classes that actually do good psn dmg, any class with barb & pally with grief(+trangs)/psn nova/plague jav/ww & kick sin etc.

For pvm,
There are actually no dangerous mobs that do cold dmg. But alot that do significant psn damage, vipers/horadrims/doom knight to name afew. Thus again psn res > cold res.
