Ive always just started with a Sorc and i am tired and sick of it, so this time my end goal is to get a poison necro going looks superfun and never tried it.

So my plan is to go with a necro as ladder starter but is this a bad choice?

I understand going bonespear to reach hell is the best way but after that should or can I go poison right away or should i start out my ladder farming as a summoner with CE ?

I got around 9k FG to spend as soon as i can afford an Enigma but that might even take weeks before prices drop? Got no idea.

So how would your strategy be when coming to farming? where should I farm pre Enigma and what build should I be using until I go poison?

Necro is pretty strong start of ladder.

I would go summoner CE all the way.

Where to farm? I would say chaos sanctuary hell. or the new "areas", the terror zones.

Find a group of 2 - 3 people to do ladder with, if you're doing Nec. Maggots Lair and A3 will be a nightmare, but having meat shields makes up for the other areas. Clay Golem + Decrep = Boss Slow to a crawl.

I think I will be going bone spear for leveling 🤔 but will try to find people to play with aswell!

i started a poison necro last year he is lvl 24 now. maybe don't start with poison.

Start bone and try to get 3 piece trang (belt, glove, shield) before switching to poison.

Poison is kinda meh with top tier day 1 shit gear

I'd rather farm with a fun but slower char over a 5856363th cold sorc

Alright thanks alot man I will start with bone until hell then maybe respecc summoner att around level 75-80 and finally respecc posion once I got the gear

I think Summoner into Bone is a bit easier, at least till you get till Nightmare. It's a matter of preference, but having to use pot after pot is super annoying. Once you get Spirit Sword and Rhyme/Splendor, it's a bit easier.

Summon necro is slow but alright for farming areas.

My plan is summon nec topped head to toe with mf gear in the terror zones.
