Flickering flame helm + 4 tals. 5/5 fire jewel each.

go full tal, three tal or no tal

I've tried many combinations for my pure hydra sorc. This setup gives the best result. It melts p8 meph in less than 10s.

kindly explain how using tal orb over hoto makes any sense

or how using flickering flame over full tal makes any sense

Look at the individual set bonus on each tals. The orb is just that good.

For fire sorc -resist much more valuable than +dmg or +skills.
