Looking for a Gg Charge paladin for PVP What is best build and best in slot items

pure charge isn't great tbh

just make a charge-centric smiter with griefz, forti and phoenix

haven't played d2 in like 10 years but why such garbage items
griefpb, exile st and eni are the only choices for anything pvp related to a smiter
if you're not using cleglaws gloves but the lifetap ones you can also go zaka shield

griefz for higher range adder
forti for ed since he wants a charger
phoenix because it's bis ever since they removed the firestorm bug

side notes:
exile is crap on anything but a UT smiter. only time you'd ever consider it before was vs barbs, but now without cubed def it's pointless. spirit or phoenix >
no reason to ever use dracs over crafted cb gloves, trangs or bloodfists on a pvp smiter

cleglaws are bis cus of slow res thus you're stronger if you duel anything that can slow your as (especially other pallys if they switch to holy frost during charges)
charger is bad anyway so just go for smiter
phoenix can't be bis cus lifetap on exile alone beats it and you can build it into 45@ st
ba is 2 range and pb 3 iirc, pb should be better but maybe I'm confusing the two don't remember it's been 10 years
ed useless on smite and he won't ever have enough ar and res on a paladin to really make use of it for a "charger"

Exile is only good in vs druids zoo, barbs with low ar... For everything else Spirit or exile >
400% bonus to damage is massive. U typical have 174 ed from strengt and 594 from fana. And around 615 from smite. Then those 400 are a huge add as well, basicly like putting on another damage aura xD
Not to mention 50life, 10max fr, 5max lr, 28fire sorb.

Now, add in the fact that u seem to want none skillers on a smiter. Smite dont get dmg adds from 3max scs, and ar is irrelevant since smite dont use ar.

ok so you want to use a ebotd thunder maul, war pike might be better but it's not as funny. fort of course. you are going to need massive ar and your damage is going to be super high already so i would go angelic ammy and rings. i don't think youll need can't be frozen. i would go with shako and dungo for helm and belt for life and dr. gores for boots. max charge and synergies. you can max fan for more damage or just use might. i you just use might you can put points to holy freeze for the slow or something. id use your charms to max up your res if you don't have salvation. cb skillers would be good too. oh gloves! Steel rends would be best.
