Can easily do enigma + gheeds + travs for plenty of MF. That’s over 160mf. Which is plenty.

Not to mention you can add in some 7mf SCs given SCs don’t provide much benefit to a pvm ES sorc.


Very easy to get a good amount of MF without sacrificing clear speed.

yeah thats true i didn't think of enigma but i currently have both set ups, the first being low req infinity/griff/vmagi ect with insight merc the classic nova build.
and then tals set with phoenix (for mana regen with infinity merc) or switch for spirit
Tals set has ALOT more mf, more base life & huge res (not that it really matters with es but it helps if es breaks)
also does the same damage and has same max mana try it out :P

Probably same on screen damage. But not true damage due to -55 lightning resist being such a huge part of your damage output equation. Where if you break a monsters immunity, the -55 enemy lightning resist is around a 2.6x multiplier on your damage.

Tals will only have about 125 more MF than an enigma build depending on what you put into sockets. Very minor overall.

But in terms of budget, tal is obviously hard to beat.

Not to mention holding infinity with your merc holding insight is such a huge survivability tool. To the point where even low skill hardcore people who think everyone needs to hold storm shields feel safe.
