hey
was thinking about trying to charge my way into pvp

just a few notions:

1. is infy worth considering? conv aura makes you hit almost everyone (and 50% cb is nice, but i guess chargers are kind of glass cannon anyway)
2. deadly strike or crushing blow focus?
3. does frw work with charge, or is it a set speed?
4. does it make sense to get DR from items or focus on str and damage?
5. who are the easy/hard/impossible targets?
6. other thoughts?

1 - no, get yourself a nice eth death in a decapitator or glorious axe
2 - deadly strike
3 - i dont think it works with charge
4 - focus on damage but have a coa in stash for dr if you are dying quick vs phys damage
5 - everybody dies in 1-2 hit except barbs. just switch to grief/hoz and play like you're a smiter vs them
setup i use is death decapitator, shako, highlord, coh, bloodfist (for the fhr breakpoint so it's not at 0. might not even matter in this patch idk just used to it), 2x ravenfrost, dungo, gore. grief and hoz in stash
inventory is all 100+ attack rating grand charms, anni, torc, and then all 30+ attack rating small charms

want to try to get 20k ar. 15+ is fine but 20+ is better. i'm at 20k without enchant and 26k with enchant. overall build costs less than 1,000fg and half of that is coh

3. Idk I don’t think it works? I’m just guessing though
4. If you’re running a 2h build there’s no point trying to be tanky, you’re gonna die quickly to everything. If you run a build with grief and a shield it can be okay to have some tankiness
5. Easiest is sorc. Get one namelock then they die. Druid, ww barb, , necro (bone prison), and all max block paladins are bad matchups. It’s not a good character
6. Build a v/t instead

(5) is why i thought infy would be a good fit, because i can stack 20 life small charms and hit anyway, and then get some fcr and enigma to dodge prison.

but yeah, overall it doesnt seem like a good character after thinking it over.

If you run infinity your damage is so low that you’ll just die to the same characters anyway

At least with death you have 1-2 shot potential

i see, but with infy i can also do mix with foh, confuse the enemy

Lol I'm trying to make a charger too atm, but literally no guides out there. In sc, I think I seen one charger before lol.
Are chargers(with pike) good in hc/pker for one shotting people? I assume so

i guess if you could find in game, like join baal runs and hostile?
switch with wizzy/spirit and fast tele.
but i dont know, every way i think about it... inferior char.

edit: not to mention, as someone said, block = you die.

Yeah that makes sense, I seen a youtube video with a charger(with pike) tricking people going into their portal and hostile then one shotting them. I guess that's the only way charger pkers can get kills lol.
i'm still going to try to make a charger with pike in sc tho, it looks fun as hell.

how come you're making a charger? From the post above, charger overall seems a lot weaker than all other options like smiter.

Pretty sure charge is not affected by frw but is impacted by vigor
