Hii everyone! Can you give me some tips on how to play against hammerdins using a BvC setup? I got decent gear but I really hate using my respec to use fort + widow. Any suggestions or hammer mechanics that I should know about will be very much appreciated.

Whats your level and ar?
And what is ur gear in general vs them?

No point in us telling you how to, unless we know ur frw and ar and weps as a minimum

My setup is the following vs Hammerdin (0 FCR, 48% FHR, Level 93):

Grief (40/386) + Beast (247 ED, 36 STR)
Arreat's Face with 30 ED/15 IAS jewel (sorry i'm poor)
Enigma Mage Plate
Verdungo's Hearty Cord (37 Vit, 15% DR, not that DR really matters)
Dual Angelics + Nature's Peace (the oak sage i usually use so that whenever i try to delay-stomp, oak can potentially "catch" a hammer or two)
Gore Rider
Dracul's Grasp
20/19 Barb Torch and 20/20 Anni

Charms are:
5x GC of low-rolled but "fairly decent" maxdmg/AR/life
2x GC of maxdmg/AR/FHRs
313 poison SC
a couple of random SC lifers

Fully-buffed:
22,535 WW Attack Rating
31,477 Berserk Attack Rating
Almost 7k HP.

Need some good strategy when versing against pure hammers. Pardon me i'm but a poor guy playing PvP on Asia. Should I go for the 37 or 63% FCR or no need at all? I have seen some who doesn't need FCR and still kicking hdin's ass.

Oh wait yes sorry i have no FCR vs Hammerdins. I was thinking of my setup vs bone necros. Sorry for the wrong info. Will edit it.

you can use a +5 widowmaker bow and open wounds from dracs/gores to force him to stomp you

always ww down

you have to whirlwind down clipping the hdin, so the hammers don't hit you

obviously its a hard matchup


before with leap it wasn't as bad, im not really sure how leap is working on d2r atm


also get high ar, use demon limb enchant

This is a useful tip bro. I was really not into using widowmaker since it's so lame but i guess i can't do anything much as a BvC. Thanks for the feedback bro!
