in LoD? dont use es in pvm

i know "monster mana burn" but maybe exist build pvm with es witch allows fun game

What ? You’re more likely to die playing es in d2 lod due to the bug

Your entire mana pool will be drained in 1 hit and then you’ll die in the 2nd hit cos you have no life

If iit doesn't make sense then it deletes the project.

you can play pvm ES builds for fun without any problems at all. just dont teleport into elite packs, that immediately solves the problem^^
the thing you should really worry about are the succubi species in A5 that will cast blood mana curse, but other than that you should not face difficulties

It puts the lotion in the basket or else it gets the hose again

He’s playing legacy d2 dude not d2r, mana burn is not fixed there and will burn 256x as much mana as it’s supposed to

hm I have a working ES nova sorc on D2 Legacy, but maybe I am doing something wrong... :/

jokes aside:
are ES builds better for PvM than vita builds? - no, see Stefbefs details regarding mana burn bug.
can they be used? - absolutely yes, if you don't play in full reckless mode. don't teleport into elite packs (which you should not do anyway, let's face it ^^), keep some potions ready (which you should do anyway, it's PvM). make sure you hit 105 for, since this is in most cases enough to teleport in and out of a pack faster than they can hit you. exceptions are of course mana burn plus extra fast plus fans aura on bosses, but that might catch a vita sorc as well due to hit recovery... Also that is no problem as you stated that it is for softcore, so dying every now and then is fine
