Hello! During my research for this build I was unable to find a guide that I felt built this build correctly so I thought I would post my setup and maybe it helps someone.

Disclaimer: This is a HIGH END build and if you are not willing to go all out with gear I feel nova is just straight up worse than Blizzard in terms of clear speed and versatility.

Pros/cons vs traditional lightning/chain lightning build

Pros:
faster at clearing due to more aoe.
You don't have to aim.
Tankier due to having max warmth
No mana pots needed due to having max warmth
No damage loss for going ES.

Cons:
it takes 8 seconds longer to kill bosses on p8

Mandatory gear to start the build:
Griffons priority on -res roll
Infinity
+9 memory
Torch
Anni
4 skillers

Current build I'm running on HC with a BO barb.

Skills:
20 static
20 nova
20 telekensis
20 lightning mastery

20 warmth

Rest of points into frozen armor for defense.

Stats:
Strength- enough for gear
Dex- enough for gear
Vitality- enough for 1k hp with BO
Energy- everything else.


Gear:
Griffon with 5/5
Tal amulet or nice rare with mana and res
Vmagi um'd
Frostburns
Sojx2
Spirit 35% monarch
Arach
Sandstorm treks
Crescent moon runeword in Crystal sword

Swap:
+9 es memory

Inventory:
Torch
Anni
6 light skiller
3 fhr scs
Rest mana scs

Merc:
Act 2 prayer
Vgaze
Treachery
Infinity in eth mancatcher

I will be adding to this guide in the future and will include different gear setups. This is the max damage setup I use for players 8 farming.

Did you accidentally miss points into Energy Shield?

Nope. My only source of energy shield is from memory on swap. There is enough points to get 82% absorb, which is plenty.

No Cta?

I run with a Bo barb. for Legit/single player i'd use Cta with no shield and just swap via cube

Im a little confused, this supposed to be a MF/farming build but you have 0 MF?
