Glitching it. Look up “cooley” on YouTube. He teaches you, it’s actually really easy.

pretty simple:

1. make the runeword as normal on NL (just put the runes in)
2. get a ''gemmed item''
3. put it in shared stash
4. log out of the game
5. log onto ur ladder character
6. save and exit ur ladder character
7. log back onto non ladder character
8. voilla the server automatically fixed ''incorrect'' runewords

they made this mechanic for runewords that had somehow failed but forgot about that it could also fix the ladder only thing

Cooley, aka, , never has anything intelligent to say that he figured out. He just regurgitates what others Already know. And even then, most of the time he gets it wrong.

Does that work with regular ladder runewords such as Spirit, Fort, Phoenix, etc. ?

havent tested it but if it works with flickering flame etc it should also work with those
