So i've been slugging away on a fendzon and am friggin loving it however i'd like to take her even further.

I can currently handle most parts of the game solo however my clear speed could probably be a bit faster....

GEAR:

Weapon: Obedience in 5os matriarchal spear (400-600 damage + goodies from RW)
Swap: 2pdiamond moser's + life tap wand
Helm: ptopaz stealskull (to help break 100 MF +leech and ASPD)
Chest: Treachery (For fade, envenom and ASPD/FHR)
Gloves: Laying of Hands for boss killing
Boots: Gores
Belt: String of ears
Ring 1: Angelic
Ring 2: Cheapo 3/4 dual leech ring for mana (trying to replace with rfrost)
Amulet: Angelics
Skillers: Anni + 3 PnM GCs

Skill build:
Maxed Fend, Jab, Valk, AR passive crit with 1 point in each dodge

I know that currently I have no Cannot be frozen however fend seems to ignore frozen's slowdown apart from a SLIGHT delay between casts of skill which is minimal but I will be grabbing a rfrost as soon as I can find a higher AR one.

Anyways.... I was hoping to take my zon further while still having some MF to do the 85 zones so any suggestions would be appreciated! Just keep in mind that I do not have much wealth to spend XD

PS: I know that a fendzon is NOT an optimal MFing character however I am really burnt out of the "meta" builds and just wanted something fun to cruise through some of the new lv85 zones + chaos and Baal (which I can currently clear but at a bit of a slower speed)

What's your merc?

Funny you ask I do not have a merc setup yet as i've been looking for gear. I was hoping to try the buffed lightning A3 merc out with crescent moon to help me with elemental immunes since I can't afford to deck out an a2 merc with an infinity/botd or the new a5 frenzy barb with a lightsaber/lawbringer that I have but I need a few more levels.

I need to be slightly difficult here simply because I was hoping to step away from the merc meta and try something different however I am open to suggestions on this.

How are you finding your survivability? I have an 86 zon on hc that I started off as a javazon but have become bored of its limitations pre infinity. Was thinking about trying a spearazon with a similar build to yours

An act2 merc with Eth reapers toll, might aura will significantly increase your damage output.

Survivability is actually really good! Fend attacks blazing fast when surrounded and deals out some big hits! I definitely will need an rfrost to make it better but fend combined with my life tap wand allows me to take down anything that isn't phys immune even when chilled.

I am able to solo through chaos sanctuary and Baal minions/the big B himself with relative ease (however the stupid Achmel spawn causes me some grief due to the chill/his pack splitting apart and machine gunning me down).

Definitely would... I was hoping to move away from using an A2 merc if possible though hehe... especially considering a lot of the meta weapons for this merc tend to be pretty pricey (eth reapers starts at about 200 fg)

This is why I wanted to try running lightsaber/lawbringer on an a5 frenzy merc as it would provide a lot of non phys damage, decrepify and a sanctuary aura to help with those pesky undead while costing me very little to get setup as lawbringer is amn lem ko.

If 200fg, or $2.50 is to expensive for you, get a non Eth reapers
