D2JSP Friends,

I am making a public thread as I have been getting an alarming amount of PM's lately regarding my 102% FCR Hybrid "Spider" Assassin Build. One of my friends, Coooley, was kind enough to put together a video on my Spider Assassin Build. This video will cover some basics, build, gear choices, and so on.

For those who are interested, I also made my Spider Assassin fully downloadable on D2GA (Private Server). Instructions for how to do this are in the video.

Insane assa, im curious what are your thoughts on the viability of ghosts/spiders in D2R pvp when gozu rares wont be available?

At the very core of it. This assassin is essentially a trapper with chaos. Even without the godly GG the spider will still be viable, but you won’t be able to mow people down with WW and dclaw as well as if you had stronger claws.

Good stuff, man. I recently started dueling again, I’ll have to check out the build on d2ga. I also just discovered Cooley’s page, by far the best D2 channel on YouTube, imo.

Honest question

your claws are obv amazing, but any matchup that requires a fools - wouldn't it be better to just lose the chaos and play as pure traps?

The only match ups worth dropping Chaos/Fools are vs a trapper, zon and barb.

Vs a trapper, you stand a better chance running trap claws to match the trapper's high life rep.
Vs barb/zon, you will optimize your chances to win using a weapon/shield setup for 75% Block and 50% DR.

Against everything else, chaos/fools is great because ww can be used both offensively and defensively.
