Hello,

After Googling one can find many Diablo 2 character build lists and forum topics. I could not find complete lists, mixing both PvP and PvM builds, either viable or super-fun :D
So this is my project: to make a complete and organized list of character builds in Diablo 2. Then I can choose which ones I want to try each ladder, and so can you !

Below is the current state of my work. I would really appreciate your help to complete the list. If you know other builds, please give me the name or a link !!!
Ones would say there are hundreds. I disagree. I think we can group them. For example:
- a Faith-bowazon or a Windforce-Bowazon are the same gameplay & philosophy, we can consider it 1 build.
- Most sorceress builds have a Vitality and a Energy Shield variant. Most javazon builds have a Vitality and a max block variant. The gameplay is the same, so I would group those.

Currently there are only the names of the builds and a short description. I may add links to guides later :)

Before reading:
- "/" means that many names exist for the same build, and I tried to get them all.
- "CtC" stands for chance to cast, attribute of items that give a chance to cast skills.
- "MF" stands for Magic Find.
- "GF" stands for Gold Find.
- "TO" stands for Trang Oul set.

Here are all the builds I listed so far:

Mixing pvp and pvm seems like a bad idea.

Also, atleast for pvm (i have no clue about pvp) different chars/builds have different viabilities depending on game plan. Thats not considered at all.

fearazon uses lightning strike, wouldn't make sense with lightning fury
bladesin's description is wrong/misleading
you're missing a pvp sin with maxed fcr spamming mindblast, goomshill calls it bison
singer uses war cry, not battle cry
missing taunt barb
Armageddon can be cast while in bear mode, contrary to what you wrote
missing procsdin, tridin, abott and slowadin(could be included in frost)
I think tesladin and dream paladin are different, but a lot of your list is arguable about what is and what isn't a build. It's weird that you have support builds like healer but no builds dedicated to support for other class like a bo barb. You also make distinctions between v/t,t/v while you group other builds that are more different.
missing conversion paladin
missing hydra/nova, revive chant sorc,
weird that you didn't specify fireball/ES
missing an ES sorc

I don't know why you don't make a build for every character's skill and say that it focus on that skill, when you do it for some characters with skills that are not more viable than those you didn't include. You could also slap Eternity, Beast, Corpsemouth, trangs etc... on pretty much any character and call it a build because you use the skill/charges they provide.

Doubleswing barb, they're a lot like frenzy barbs but they can max out a whole lot of different skills other than damage synergies.

Poison/summon necro - max out poison skills and dump a bunch of points into skeleton mastery and raise skeleton or revive. With revive you can just rely on plus skills and max out corpse explode instead - probably the stronger build.

Fishyzon - max out lightning fury and charged strike, uses freezing arrow with cold arrow as synergy for backup attack. Written by the same guy who wrote the Fishymancer guide (Nightfish). Apparently it's viable but I did not have much success with it in my singleplayer walkthrough as I do not have the patience to grind and grind and grind for specific uniques. With great gear, you might as well go the extra mile and just get Infinity.

Golemancer - uses cheap, high damage weapons to turn into Iron golems. Uses that in conjunction with a beefy merc to telestomp monsters and blow them up with Corpse explosion.

Enchant/Orb - maxes out Frozen orb, dumps enough points into CM, then maxes out Enchant and synergies. Works fine for Hell, works even better working with summon necros and melee characters.

Thanks buddy ! I will fix the mistakes. Just a few questions:

- What is the correct description of Bladesin ?
- Can you describe for me procsdin, tridin, abott and slowadin please ?

Well it is true with item CtC, item charges, and each skill, you could try many many builds. But they are not all viable or fun aren't they ? And a reproducible guide does not exist for all of them I guess^^

Doubleswing barb > seems legit to add it.

Poison/Summon necro > I think it is just a variant of Venomancer. I should probably just add a note about poison & bone builds that can be hybrided with a few summons.

Fishyzon > this is another name for hybrid amazon right ? And oriented for magic find ?

Golemancer > already in the list, but I wrote "golem-mancer", I guess I spelled it wrong

Enchant/Orb > seems legit to add.

Oh there's also a reaperess, max enchant/static sorc using reaper's toll as main weapon, using normal attacks
Bladesin uses blade skills as main attack, not traps
procsdin : paladin that focus on ctc gear with fanatism/zeal + infinity merc. gear like destruction, carrion wind, bone, rift etc..
tridin : basically a rift-fireball-foh din, tri elemental : https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=36586395
abott : paladin that focus on negating damage and outhealing the damage done to him by stacking pdr/mdr/res/max res/absorb/heal
slowadin : paladin that focuses on slowing down ennemy with holy freeze + decrepify + slow%, you could also use clay golem from stone rw

not sure if you also want to add bm pvp builds like an aurashift mercdin, which max offensive aura and tele with merc by swapping all aura, making the merc gain bonus from all of them on a telestomp poke
not sure if you want to add speedrun builds too, but there are pacifist sorc and pal that focus never attacking monsters and clearing normal : https://www.speedrun.com/d2lod#Pacifist
