I wanna try craft light plated blood boots and wondered if buying the magic light plated at vendors would give the ideal ilvl for crafting attempts.

Please lmk

Ive read sumwhere that the ilvl of ur item at any vendor will be 5+clvl so would be lvl99+5 = ilvl 104 ??

ilvl = character level + 5 when shopping, capped at 99. In Normal difficulty, there is a further cap, depending on which Act the vendor is in:

Act 1 : 12
Act 2 : 20
Act 3 : 28
Act 4 : 36
Act 5 : 45

internal level is downgraded to 99 only after affixes have been set.

That's the very definition of 'capped', an applied limit or restriction. Ilvl is not capped at 104 (it will only calculate to 104 before the item is spawned at the vendor). understand what you're talking about before you 'fix' something.

buying boots with lvl99

buying light plated boots at hell vendors on a lvl99 sorc, will craft on a 94 char i guess

Item spawns at iLvl 104 when shopped with char level 99 (except in normal games). That was the fixing part.

If used thereafter for crafting purposes, then iLvl 99 applies.

On topic, iLvl 80 crafts is all you need (assuming you want 'of regeneration' on top of craft affix). Higher iLvl is useless.
